RC vehicle of choice: A Buyer's Guide

Whether you give a vehicle remote control looking for yourself or as a gift, the choices seem endless. To this end, I have a buying guide to give you some tips to help you find what you're looking for together.

What grade - Hobby or toy?

If you buy for a child, then you probably do with a cheaper variety Toys RC vehicle go. They are ideal for teaching the basics of controlling a remote controlVehicle, and usually not very fast, can be used indoors and with ease.

Perhaps you are interested in racing, then you will probably want to choose a nitro car. This type of vehicle can be quickly and since they are full of fast running, the fuel to get you back on track in no time.

Well, if you are new to the RC car scene, and then an electric vehicle, the road ahead. This type of vehicle, usually not as fast as a powered counterparts, but they are very easy to set up and maintain.

The Razor 7AH, 24 volt (two 12 volt) battery with fuse is Razor's most common battery used in most of its recent versions of Razor's electric products like Razor dirt bikes, go karts, Pocket Mods, and other 4-wheelers. The sealed (non-spillable) lead-acid battery comes as two 12 volt battery packs and, most importantly, comes pre-wired with a single connector (with 4 holes/2 pins) and a 30 amp fuse.
